Most common cancer deaths in women are due to cervical cancer (1 lac per year) and breast cancer (80 thousand per year). This huge number of deaths is because of late detection of cases and by then the cancer is already spread to a large area and is beyond intervention. Early detection, therefore, is a must for an effective Cancer management plan. Cancer awareness and regular screening help you in timely detection of cancer, making a huge difference and successful treatment possible.
Both these types of cancer can easily be detected with regular screenings and check-ups. With this aim in mind, we have started the“Preventive oncology clinic”.
